As a responsible business we take ownership of our role to ensure all that we do is environmentally sound and responsible. Having implemented stringent policies to enable us to reduce our carbon footprint, our constant review of procurement and disposal practices has set an internal precedent that we strive to improve upon year after year. In some cases the benefits are not only environmental, for example our increased use of recycled stocks (paper & board), and correct recycling / disposal methods of aluminium plates and printing inks has brought along with it a greater degree of purchasing leverage – which we are able to pass onto you, the client. We continually research alternative environmental and energy-efficient products; including soya-based inks and reduction in the use of chemistry within our processes, all designed to reduce and control waste. Installing process less plate making in 2007 meaning fewer chemicals involved in the plate making process shows our further commitment to environmentally sound practices that is as un-wavered as our dedication to service and print production. We also hold ‘Chain of custody Certification’ from the Forest Stewardship Council ® which allows us to produce your print using FSC certified material. Chain of Custody certification traces forest products through the supply chain to the end-consumer (your print). The FSC logo on your print will demonstrate your commitment to responsible and sustainable forestry management, protecting the environment and ensuring the rights of indigenous people are respected.
